Where it all Began
Hello everyone my name is Carla.
I am so happy that you are here! This is my story of how my husband and I decided to start a Newspaper business. Here is where it all began...When it was wedding season for me and my husband, I wanted to do something very special for our guests...We wanted something unique that they would enjoy, cherish and simply to show gratitude for their amazing support and love throughout our wedding planning.I went back and thought about the theme of our wedding which was vintage classic inspired by the movie “The Notebook”—I always admired the life of the 1950s-1960s, the simplicity, style, movies etc...Those eras have a forever spot in my heart because of my grandparents.As I kept brainstorming I then said to myself “what about a newspaper?” I was not so sure about the idea at first because well, my question was “how can I achieve this?”So, then I researched on how this can be done and after many trials and errors…Everything was coming together they way I had imagined. It gave me so much joy that I turned something as beautiful as this into a reality and it still feels surreal that I did that. After I finally brought my newspaper to life, I started to address my envelopes, add the touch of the chiffon ribbon and of course a ‘Thank You’ card with a custom message to each guest. We mailed them out to everyone and once they all received our newspaper in their mailbox—Everyone was in such a big state of surprise and enamored with the attention to detail. Till this day our guests talk about how special it was to have received our newspaper and how happy it had made them to see photos after the wedding and what we did for our honeymoon. They all encouraged us to create this for other people and spread this kind of happiness to them. From there...was the beginning of
